Wzup everybody,
Let me begin by thanking you for all of the hard work that was done this summer as we became even more visible in the community we serve! It is becoming ever more obvious that the vision of becoming change agents in our community is grabbing hold in our congregation and I pray that as we become more involved that we would prepare ourselves for the resistance awaiting. Spiritual and physical!
Let's prepare our hearts to close out this year on a high note, by remembering our commitment to God to be faithful to HIM despite the consequences in our lives. Many of which are just there so that we can trust in HIM and HIS ability to keep us. Enjoy the sermon series "Faith Revisited" as well as the October series "Faith in Action". It will be life changing if you truly put the principles into practice.
I am also encouraging ALL married couples to get involved in the "Strengthen your Marriage" ministry. This ministry is designed to do exactly what it says strengthen marriages both in the church and outside. We know that this is an area in which we as a church need to ask GOD to work on and so if you know you and your spouse need some strengthening, and even if you think you don't! Check out our marriage ministry page and see what's going on from the Laughing your way to a better marriage series all the way to the monthly D.A.T.E. nights. Get involved and see won't GOD strengthen YOUR marriage! (p.s. don't tell anyone but single Christians be on the lookout for something special for you as well shhhhh...)
Lastly just to give you guys a little bit of a preview of things in the future, I have had many people come to me with a desire to know what they are called to for the kingdom. So many of you know that you should be doing so much more than just coming to church Sunday to Sunday but just don't know what you should be doing. Well we have something for you, it is called "Equip" an annual conference that will help us find our gifts and passions so that we can combine them into ministry, as well as remind us of the call that every believer has which is to MAKE DISCIPLES! Prepare your heart, soul and mind for this experience as we prepare ourselves for this time of growth. I am truly excited and I pray that this is exciting times for you as well.
Well once again thanks for your commitment, remember to stand firm in the faith. For God has promised to never leave you or forsake you.
